It’s time for another update, and this one brings a lot of new toys, decisions, and ways to either thrive or totally tank your business. Astronaire v0.3.0 introduces unique planet utilities, ship upgrades, AI improvements.

Planet Utilities – Planets That Actually Do Stuff Now

You know those planets you just flew to for the local market? Well, now they’ve got a little more personality—and risk.

Nexus Station – Your New Favorite Pit Stop
Now offers one ship upgrade per visit. Pick from:

• Cargo Bay – Haul more.

• Engine – Fly faster.

• Fuel Tank – Go further.

Upgrade costs scale with your ship, so plan ahead. And yes, the AI gets these too. You’re not the only one getting smarter.

Nexus Prime – Tax Shenanigans
Tired of paying taxes? Petition the Galactic Alliance! Maybe they'll forgive your debt. Maybe they'll raise your taxes. Maybe they're just too busy. Sounds about right.

Zarthon – Discount Fuel, Sketchy Dealer
Tempted by a mysterious man in a trench coat offering cheap fuel? Of course you are. Sometimes it’s a great deal. Sometimes it’s a scam. Risk it all for that sweet discount.

Xylophos – Water for Credits, Maybe a Mutiny
Sell your water for cash. Your crew might not love that. Mutiny chance included—because consequences are fun.

Nuvoria – Insider Info
Get market recommendations from analysts... if they’re not “on break.” Recommendations might say BUY, SELL, HOLD—or absolutely nothing at all.

AI Just Got an Upgrade

• AI traders now visit Nexus Station and upgrade their ships like responsible space capitalists.

• They consider their finances and only buy what they can afford (usually).

UI, Sounds, and Sprites – Oh My!

• Replaced all planet images with beautiful new animated ones, plus a shiny new station sprite—thanks to assets from Pixel Planet Generator.

• The background got a cosmic upgrade too, now featuring visuals from Space Background Generator.

• Added a single new button sound as a test. More audio tweaks coming once I find the ones I like.
